Mark Foden
School Governor
I live locally. I have lived in Shropshire for the past 36 years, and my son was educated here in Shropshire. I have two grandchildren. I have family here in Shropshire and enjoy walking my two Setters here in the beautiful countryside that surrounds us.
I have been in numerous strategic leadership roles throughout my 30 years of working life, in education. I have had a number of roles including Headship, Deputy Headship, Director of Learning, Head of Year, Head of House, Head of PSHE. I have a broad base of experience from project management, curriculum, and pastoral roles. I have led on numerous initiatives including sustainability, Assessor of Eco Schools and gained a Teachers Award and qualifications - CMI course in educational leadership and Diploma in Senior Mental Health Lead.
I have worked in Secondary, Middle and SEND schools and got schools Ofsted ready. Having now retired from full time teaching I would like to spend some time supporting William Reynolds Primary and the wonderful pupils and staff as a school governor.
