William Reynolds Primary School and Nursery

The children at our school were absolutely thrilled to be invited to the opening of the local community library at Park Lane Centre. The community library was opened on 2nd December 2022 to the public but we were invited to cut the ribbon and have a sneak preview.

The community library is important to the children at our school because last year the school council asked their classes what changes they wanted to see to their community and a library was an addition the children felt we needed. The school council wrote a letter to local councillors, Rae Evans and Kelly Middleton, who helped to implement the children’s ideas into reality.

We had so much fun reading the new books!
