William Reynolds Primary School and Nursery

On the morning of Friday 30th June, our Year 2 Lego League representatives were invited to take part in the Lego League conference at Telford AFC stadium. The event was to celebrate the work that the children have completed towards their project theme ‘Super Powered’. Over the last term, the children have been learning about how they get and use energy, as well as how energy it is stored and distributed in a sustainable way. The children had the opportunity to make Lego models using motors and iPad apps to power their creations and had the opportunity to present their creations to be judged by their peers from other schools. Both of our school’s groups won awards for enthusiasm in explaining their models and for their coding innovation. We had the most wonderful time!
