Year 4 - Chester Zoo - 2023
Our visit to Chester Zoo was a really exciting day. It began earlier than normal as we were leaving school at 8:30. When we arrived at the zoo, the first animals we saw were the elephants. They were amazing! We watched them stripping the leaves of the branches as they had their breakfast. After that the day just got better. We saw lots of different animals, focussing particularly on the types of animals we might see in the Amazon Rainforest. We even had some unexpected visitors at lunchtime, when the local ducks decided to see what lunch they could get off us! We had a fantastic day, saw loads of animals up close and personal and learnt a lot about them.
